De ontem pra hoje, o pessoal da Microssoft atualizou o sistema FolderShare. Agora, passou a se chamar Windows Live Sync.

O soft me ajuda bastante na hora de compartilhar e sincronizar pela internet arquivos e pastas com os amigos e também com colegas de trabalho. Por aqui eu utilizava tanto em um Desktop-PC, rodando Windows XP SP 2 quanto no iBook velho de guerra, rodando Leopard.

Neste movimento para atualização, os softwares clientes do Foldershare pararam de funcionar e passaram a exibir alertas, indicando que uma nova versão do software (Agora já chamado Windows Live Sync), deveria ser instalada em cada máquina. Isto feito, percebi que todas as configurações existentes para as pastas que eu compartilhava anteriormente sumiram. Nada que não pudesse ser feito novamente, apesar de entender que isto não deveria acontecer de maneira alguma.

O maior problema – e na verdade, que está me atrapalhando mesmo – está no cliente para Mac, que após ser instalado simplesmente avisa que a versão atual não é a mais recente. Independente dela ter sido baixada há menos de 10 minutos.

Update:
Finalmente a coisa passou a funcionar. Depois de esperar um dia, baixei novamente o mesmo soft cliente para o Mac OSX e as coisas até aqui funcionam.
